Wyette Felton and Empress at the Zone 4 Championships

Wyette and Empress earned the high score during their over fences portion of the Championships. 

Wyette Felton and her horse Empress won the United States Hunter Jumper Zone 4 Children’s Division Championship held in Aiken, SC. The Championship competition is held for two days at Bruce’s Field show grounds. The first day is a team competition with riders contributing points for the team total score. Wyette and Empress were on the pink team with two adult riders and the team earned Reserve Champion silver medals for their efforts. On day two, during the individual competition, Wyette and Empress garnered the highest score on their second jumping round and won the overall individual championship. This is Wyette’s first time competing in this national program. Wyette is trained by Phoebe Lawson of Alpharetta.
