Local Volunteer Project and $6.5K Grant Part of The Home Depot Foundation’s
Ongoing Community Relief Efforts
Today, The Home Depot Foundation assembled 200 COVID-19 relief kits to support immediate community relief. Members of Team Depot, The Home Depot’s associate volunteer force, assembled 200 kits and will partner with CORE Response to safely transport and distribute the kits to CORE testing sites in Atlanta, following all CDC and government safety guidelines.
The kits include critical supplies to help CORE slow the spread of infection, including face masks, hand sanitizer, personal cleaning supplies and more. These supplies are part of a $6.5K grant to help CORE further their mission of serving communities across the nation during this uncertain and unprecedented time.
This volunteer project is a part of The Home Depot Foundation’s ongoing commitment to assist communities in need. The Home Depot has invested more than $50 million in COVID-19 relief — and the safety of our associates, communities and partners is our greatest priority. Team Depot, our associate volunteer force, is organizing volunteerism efforts that reflect all CDC and government safety guidelines.
