20th Anniversary Gala Party

Metropolitan Ballet Theatre’s 20th Anniversary Gala Performance Benefit will mark the history and successes of the North Atlanta school in one spectacular night of festivities. MBT invites all who are fans of ballet to join the party and support the school.

Founded and directed by prima ballerina Maniya Barredo, the studio is known for its excellent training in classical ballet and the preparation of its students for careers in professional ballet companies.

The party will be held at the Metropolitan Club of Alpharetta and will include a cocktail hour, silent auction, dance performance, and themed dinner, The performance will feature current students and professional alumni in classical and contemporary pieces. Former dancers now in other careers will also present their stories about the studio’s influence in their post-MBT lives.

This year also marks the 60th anniversary of Maniya Barredo’s professional career. The commemorations will highlight achievements in Barredo’s life from her beginnings in the Philippines to her experiences as a prima ballerina.

All proceeds from the event will go toward Metropolitan Ballet Theatre’s Scholarship and Performance funds to provide training and performance fees for deserving students.
