A non-profit website that connects volunteers with service opportunities in the community.

A free website, JustServe.org, has been launched in Forsyth County to help match

volunteers with non-profit organizations to unify and strengthen the community.

Many organizations need help finding volunteers to fulfill needs. The website provides organizations with another resource for recruiting volunteers and for volunteers to easily identify needs in their local community. It takes just minutes to get registered on JustServe.org, to list a project, or to volunteer. Volunteers can view opportunities that meet their interests and schedules.

Cumming resident, Dee Foster uses the JustServe website to find local service opportunities for her teenagers. “By volunteering with my children, we grow closer as a family. I like how serving in the community helps them to become individuals who are aware of the needs of others.”

Signing up to volunteer is easy through justserve.org or the free app for Android and Apple devices. Choose a username and password, and start searching the volunteer opportunities. When you find a project that interests you, select it and you are signed up. You can manage your profile to receive notices when projects in your area are posted and can manage the search criteria to filter or increase the radius of listings in your area.
