2020 Cambridge Feeder Football

Cambridge Feeder Football Registration Opens February 25th.

MILTON, Ga., -- Cambridge Feeder Football announces registration opening and head coaches for the 2020 season.

J.C. Mauldin has been named head coach for the 8th grade Cambridge Jr. Bear team for the 2020 season. Mauldin has coached Cambridge youth football teams since 2015, with these teams regularly competing for championships. Mauldin's 2018 and 2019 teams were Region 2 champions.  His 2018 team earned a berth in the GMSAA 6A State Championship game.  

J.J. McHale will coach the 7th grade team for the 2020 season. He has spent over 10 years coaching football within the AYFA/NAFL programs and in the feeder program during the 2013-2015 seasons. McHale led his teams to three straight state championship games and took home a state win in 2014. In 2019, McHale’s 6th grade team went 7-1 in the regular season, and earned the title of region 2 champions. 

William Doughty will coach the 6th grade Cambridge Jr. Bear team. Doughty started his football coaching career in 2016 as an assistant coach in the AYFA/NAFL program. Most recently, Doughty was head coach during the 2017-2019 AYFA/NAFL seasons.

The Cambridge Feeder Football program caters to rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in the Cambridge High School district and is part of the Georgia Middle School Athletic Association (GMSAA). Cambridge Feeder Football also collaborates with Cambridge High School football coaches and staff to develop skills and confidence in the younger players who will ultimately move to their program. Registration also includes a free summer camp led by the Cambridge High School Football staff, and summer conditioning workouts.

A parent & player information meeting will be held on February 25th at 7p.m. at Cambridge High School cafeteria. Whether you are a tenured football player or new to the sport, please join us to meet the 2020 head coaches and gain further information on the program.
