AHS Marching Band in Tarpon Springs

October 19th the Alpharetta High School Marching Band competed in Florida at the Tarpon Springs Outdoor Music Festival. They received the following awards in the 5A Class:  1st in Music, 1st in Color Guard, 1st in Brass, Best Soloists, 2nd in Percussion and 2nd in Visual Ensemble Performance. Overall Placement and Ranking: 1st in Music, 1st in Color Guard, 1st in Brass, 2nd in Percussion, 2nd in Visual Ensemble Performance and 3rd in Band Performance. This outstanding AHS Marching Band is led by Ira Jenkins, Band Director,  Matthew Crisman, Assistant Band Director, Matthew Howell, Percussion Director, Kayleigh Schlosser, Color Guard Co-Director, Lizzy Lukes, Color Guard Co-Director and Reji Corbett, Guard Tech.
