Woodward Math

Woodward North’s fourth grade team placed second overall in its division of the Cheetah Cup math competition.

Students from Woodward North competed in the Cheetah Cup Math Competition held April 27.

The annual competition is open to teams of five students who must be in grades 4, 5 or 6. More than 35 teams from Atlanta area schools participated this year.

Woodward›s fourth grade math team placed second overall with the fifth grade math team earning third place overall. Fourth grader George Sloan was in a third place tiebreaker on the fourth grade individual test. Shivam Gupta and Luke Stebbins placed second and third, respectively, on the fifth grade individual test.

Woodward North, an elementary school of Woodward Academy, is located in Johns Creek. The school enrolls more than 250 students from pre-K through sixth grade.
