Celebrations are great events, especially the 4th of July celebration. We feel great about our country. However, I have some concerns about the non-stop fireworks going on all night long in Dunwoody. After a long period of time, it is very uncomfortable and unwelcome. It seems like it is not going to end.

We all know fireworks are legal in Georgia, and they can be set off in DeKalb County until 11:59 p.m. This is a problem because it has become an all-night, non-stop event in neighborhoods. It creates a problem for families with young children who must go to bed early and cannot sleep with the noise. The noise is so loud, the poor kids get scared. What about sick people, or those with PTSD?

These are the issues, and no one is taking any responsibility to make changes to the time limit.

I am a conservative citizen. I hope to improve this situation in the future.
