MILTON, Ga. — A call to police about a person walking on the road led to the arrest of man wanted in Alpharetta. 

Police received a call around 11:30 p.m. June 17 that a man was stumbling in the road around the intersection of Ga. 9 and Keyingham Way. 

The responding officer said the man smelled strongly of alcohol and had difficulty balancing himself. 

A check of the man’s identity revealed he had a warrant for arrest from Alpharetta. While the man was searched, the officer found 7.2 grams of marijuana. He was cited for marijuana possession and transported to the Alpharetta jail.
