MILTON, Ga — Milton Police responded to a report of a man passing a counterfeit $100 bill the same day a similar incident occurred at a grocery store within the city. 

The general manager of the Which Wich restaurant said he found a fake $100 bill while opening the store’s register. The manager reviewed security footage and reported a man used the fake bill for a food order totaling $6.42 around 7 p.m. on May 15. The suspect left the store without retrieving his order. 

A man with a similar description attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at a Milton Publix the same day, but a cashier noticed the bill was fraudulent and the suspect left.
