MILTON, Ga. — A man wanted on felony larceny charges was arrested after he was pulled over in Milton for talking on a cell phone while driving.

A Milton officer spotted the man using his cell phone without a hands-free device on May 24 near Arnold Mill Road and New Providence Road and conducted a traffic stop.

The driver and officer recognized each other from a local church. According to the report, the driver began to cry after he was pulled over and said maybe being pulled over would be a blessing and lead him to make “some changes in his life.”

After running the man through the system, the officer discovered he was wanted in Alpharetta on felony larceny charges. He was arrested.
