JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Police cited a woman for possession of ecstasy, Vyvance and marijuana after she was stopped under suspicion of rolling through a stop sign June 17.

Police were patrolling Colony Glen Subdivision around 2:30 p.m. when an officer observed a blue Nissan SUV roll through the intersection of Colony Glen Drive and Royal Colony Court without coming to a stop.

The officer pulled over the driver, a 19-year-old from Alpharetta, and said she appeared nervous when questioned. Because of her behavior, the officer asked her to step out of the car and called for the K-9 unit.

The K-9 officer helped police locate drugs in the vehicle: 6.5 grams of suspected marijuana, an e-cigarette containing a liquid with 83.25 percent THC oil according to packaging and two pill bottles.

The suspect said the pills were 30 mg Vyvance, a prescription ADHD medication, and “Molly” or MDMA. The suspect was placed in handcuffs, taken to the police department for further questioning and then given a ride back to her home.
