JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Police responded Sept. 15 to Barnwell Road about an abandoned and damaged motorcycle found lying near the wood line. 

The owner, who arrived shortly after, told officers that his motorcycle had been stolen sometime over the previous night. 

But when he went to get coffee the next morning, he saw the motorcycle lying down near the woods. 

Both side mirrors were broken off, and the ignition connector was missing. Also, the ignition wires were twisted together.

The owner said the bicycle is a rebuild, and when he’s not using it, he disconnects the fuel line. 

The suspect must have known how to reconnect the fuel line in order to use
