JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — A man called police Aug. 28 after an iPhone worth $450 was lost in the mail or stolen.

The man shipped the phone on June 22 to Xfinity in a brown package. The company reported that it received a white package with the man’s tracking number, but there was no phone inside.

The phone was deactivated before it was sent.
