JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — A Johns Creek man contacted police Nov. 26 after he realized he had become a victim of fraud.

The man said he had been billed about $1,500 total for two accounts with telecommunication companies that he had not opened.

The accounts had been opened in December 2017.

A representative from one of the companies told the man that he needed a police report in order to dispute the charges.
