JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — A Johns Creek woman contacted police after her purple pocketbook was stolen from the trunk of her vehicle.

She said the car was parked in front of her Niblick Drive home from 5 p.m. May 18 to 5 p.m. May 19. She noticed the center console and her pocketbook was missing.

While investigating, officers were approached by a neighbor from up the street who said while walking his dog he came across a purple pocketbook that appeared to be dumped behind the bushes near his house.

The woman’s Brazilian passport and visa, her Delta employee ID and phone case were returned, but her iPhone 7 plus was missing.
