JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Johns Creek will host an Independence Day celebration Wednesday, July 3, beginning at 6 p.m. at Newtown Park. 

Families can have a picnic on the terraced amphitheater lawn. Outside food is permitted and food trucks like Patty Wagon, Southern Crust, Let’s Taco Bout It, Peace of Pita and King of Pops will be on site. Cold beer and wine will also be available. 

Crystal Clear Band will perform at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater. The group performs a mix of Classic R&B, jazz and dance favorites. Fireworks will begin after sunset. 

For those looking for a little more room, round tables seating up to eight are available for purchase by calling 678-512-3200 or by visiting the rentals and reservations section of johsncreekga.gov.
