More than 6,000 diplomas will be handed out this month to the Class of 2019 across the 17 high schools that make up the Fulton County School System. 

Special recognition is given to the two highest performing students, who were named valedictorian and salutatorian at each school. (Note: All information provided by the Fulton County School System).

Chattahoochee High School

Valedictorian – Andy Luo

Andy Luo will attend Brown University with plans to major in biology or economics. He has participated in the schools Quiz Bowl team for the past four years, reaching national level competition where the team placed among the top finishers. Andy plays clarinet in Chattahoochee’s wind ensemble as well as with the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony. He has annually been selected to All State bands. Andy is the convention chair for the school’s Beta Club, vice president and webmaster of the Science National Honor Society, and service events coordinator for National Honor Society.

Salutatorian –

Erin Chang 

Erin Chang will attend Brown University and major in liberal medical education and biochemistry. She is the daughter of Hui Chang and Tianhui Fu. Erin is a member of the National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society, and is active in Science Olympiad, Student Leadership Johns Creek, and dance (ballet & Chinese folk). She also tutors through 121Reach Tutoring.
