CUMMING, Ga. — A Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report of two vehicle thefts May 20 at a residence on Flint Creek Drive. One vehicle was reported stolen while another was burglarized the night before. The male victim informed the deputy that he came out in the morning and noticed his Ford F-150 was missing. He had parked the vehicle in his driveway the night before unlocked and with the keys inside.

The truck’s GPS system tracked the vehicle to the front of a neighborhood located on Hermitage Drive. The victim found that the only item missing from the vehicle was his gun kept in the center console. The victim’s wife reported that her vehicle, a white Cadillac Escalade, was entered and rummaged through. No items were found stolen from her vehicle. The vehicle was also left unlocked in the driveway.
