The event will see co-ed teams of four to eight adults compete in CrossFit-style athletic skills such as sit ups, tire flips, squats and pull ups.
Special Olympics Georgia provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Nearly 30,000 athletes, from toddlers to seniors, participate in its 25 sports programs each year.
Check in will begin at 7 a.m. on the day of the event. There will be an athlete briefing at 7:30 a.m., and this will be a rain or shine event.
