MILTON, Ga. — National Charity League, Milton Chapter, recognized Katie Elema, with the Senior Service Award at their Annual Tea and Awards Banquet.

The class of 2019 graduate of The Howard School has served over 790 philanthropic hours with the chapter’s philanthropy partners.

The National Charity League Inc., is a charitable non-profit organization that has mother and daughter members in chapters across the United States.

Katie was the senior with the most hours served since the Milton Chapter’s inception seven years ago.

Katie started her love of philanthropy when she was in middle school and organized a coat, hat and glove drive to benefit the children of STAR House, one of NCL Milton’s partnered philanthropies.

Outside of NCL, Katie has volunteered for the past five years as a family partner for Lighthouse Family Retreat.

Katie will attend the College of Coastal Georgia this fall.
