JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — The Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce will host a wellness expo Thursday, June 27.
The event is free and open to the public. The expo will bring together practitioners, educators, holistic specialists, insurance providers, hospitals, nutritionists and others involved in health-related fields.
There will be free health screenings for cholesterol, blood pressure, glaucoma, spine and glucose. Attendees can sit in on free educational sessions exploring topics such as colorectal cancer, breast cancer, hypnotherapy and essential oils.
Healthcare is the top industry and employer in Johns Creek. The expo is designed to connect patients with practitioners, employers with job seekers, and businesses with residents.
The event is sponsored by Emory Johns Creek Hospital, Gwinnett Medical Center and Northside Hospital.
The expo will be at Johns Creek Baptist Church at 6910 McGinnis Ferry Road from 2 to 5 p.m. June 27.
