MILTON, Ga. — The Milton Library will soon auction off a handmade blanket to benefit its craft programs. 

The auction will be held for an afghan fiber blanket made by Daniel Trussell called, “The Elephant in the Room.” The blanket has been on display since March when the library was “yarn-bombed” by a crochet club that holds its meetings at Milton Library. 

Trussell donated the blanket, which is 100 percent acrylic and machine washable, to the Friends of the Milton Library to raise funds to purchase materials for the library’s craft programs. 

The auction will be conducted on eBay starting at June 3 at 10 a.m. to coincide with the launch of the Milton Library Summer Reading program. Bidding will start at $250, and the auction can be viewed at
