Atlanta Advisor Named to 2019 Working Mother/SHOOK Research’s “Top Wealth Advisor Moms” list

For the second year in a row, Atlanta-based Merrill Wealth Management Financial Advisor Brittany L. Hartnett has been named by Working Mother as a Top Wealth Advisor Mom for 2019. In total, 90 Merrill advisors were recognized this year.

Brittany joined Merrill Lynch after graduating from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN with a double major in Finance and Economics. Brittany uses a goals-based wealth management approach that transcends traditional investment strategies to enable clients to achieve personally meaningful outcomes. With this approach, she helps clients define goals and priorities, optimize resources, and choose effective solutions based upon her client's risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs, and overall investment goals. Over time, Brittany works with clients to make adjustments that keep clients moving toward these important personal goals. For a corporate executive, this approach is especially powerful in balancing the risks and rewards of concentrated stock positions.

In 2010, Brittany successfully completed the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM program and, in 2011, attained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification – a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

Brittany currently resides in Atlanta, with her husband Matthew and their two children, Kennedy and James. Brittany is involved in the Boys & Girls Clubs of America as well as Bright Futures Atlanta and attends Buckhead Church.
