Kiln Formed Glass Art Classes at the Cumming Arts Center/Sawnee Association of the Arts. Glass Artist Paula Chambers is teaching kiln formed glass art classes for adults and children this month at the Cumming Art Center located at the historic Brannon-Heard house, 111 Pilgrim Mill Road, Cumming. Additional classes include beginner Encaustic Painting and basic Drawing in an open studio format with experienced artist Kris Straukas. For more information, schedules and to register, visit SawneeArt.org.The Cumming Arts Center features an Art Gallery and Shop with exhibits rotating every eight weeks as well as monthly featured artists/exhibits. During the year, there are many opportunities to participate in shows, exhibits and workshops including an active children’s arts program. A well-equipped studio workshop is available for artists needing a place to work.
