Vocalist Karla Harris, known for dynamic diversity within the music, has made a career within the art form she loves for decades, performing for audiences from Portland to Provence, including at events such as the Sarasota Jazz Festival, Portland Jazz Festival, Oregon Coast Jazz Party, Nantucket Arts Festival, Atlanta Jazz Party, and a TED Talk.

Critical Jazz says, “Rich, full-bodied and with a slight buttery finish, Karla Harris has mad skills!”  Harris’ latest album, Certain Elements, is a suite of original music and cover tunes that joins together her influences of contemporary jazz, Latin, swing and blues. The album reached #44 on the prestigious Jazz Week chart. O’s Place Jazz Newsletter says, “Harris is a jazz vocalist with exceptional talent that surfaces like a beautiful ballet dancer on Certain Elements.” The album’s first single, a lush remake of the ‘60s hit “Cherish,” is played on contemporary jazz radio around the globe and has been featured on Dave Koz’s SiriusXM syndicated program, The Dave Koz Lounge.
