ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A man called police May 24 after he discovered $14,000 worth of copper wire was missing from a construction site on Morris Road.

The copper wire had been delivered to the site May 21 and stored in one of the buildings and was last seen that Thursday. When workers returned the next morning, the copper wire was gone.

Police found two sets of suspicious footprints near the storage area.

The construction company is working to get cameras installed on the site.
