ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Police are investigating an Aug. 19 incident in which a man’s phone was stolen by a teenager.

The man had been waiting at the entrance of the Belmont Apartments on Park Bridge Parkway when the teenager approached him and asked to use his phone.

The man gave the teenager his phone, and after a few minutes of using it, the teenager ran away with the device. The man was unable to pursue him.

Police couldn’t ping the phone.
