ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Police arrested an 18-year-old May 22 for traveling 103 mph in a 65-mph zone. 

Police had been patrolling on Ga. 400 southbound near Windward Parkway that afternoon, when an officer said he saw a car pass by several vehicles “with no regard for its safety as well as the traffic it was passing.”

The car was clocked traveling at 103 mph. 

The driver said he didn’t realize he was going so fast. He was arrested for speeding and reckless driving.
