ALPHARETTA, Ga. — A police car was damaged Feb. 27 after it collided with a deer on Arnold Mill Road. 

The officer was patrolling near Hardman Lane at 5 a.m. when a group of deer ran onto the roadway from the left side. 

The officer slowed down in an attempt to avoid the deer, but one of the deer collided with the driver’s side of the car.

The officer was not injured. 

The headlight was broken along with several dents and scratches to the front of the car.
