NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

    

The following items will be heard at a public hearing held by the Planning Commission on Thursday, December 5, 2019 commencing at 6:30 p.m. in the Alpharetta City Hall Council Chambers, 2 Park Plaza, Alpharetta, Georgia.

Items forwarded by the Planning Commission will be considered by the City Council on Monday, December 16, 2019 commencing at 6:30 p.m. in the Alpharetta City Hall Council Chambers, 2 Park Plaza, Alpharetta, Georgia.

  1. a.    Z-19-03/V-19-16 100 North Main Street

Consideration of a request to rezone approximately 0.92 acres from C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial) to DT-MU (Downtown Mixed-Use) to allow a three-story, 28,100 square foot office building with structured parking. A variance is requested to increase the maximum building footprint. The property is located at 100 North Main Street on the west side of North Main Street at the intersection with Cumming Street and is legally described as being located in Land Lot 1252, 2nd District, 2nd Section, Fulton County, Georgia.

  1. b.    MP-19-07/Z-19-04/CU-19-09 TPA Group/360 Tech Village

Consideration of a request to amend the 360 Tech Village Master Plan to allow 255 ‘For-Rent’ units, 63 ‘For-Sale’ Townhome units, 24,000 square feet of retail/restaurant use, 470,000 square feet of office use and open space. A rezoning is requested for approximately 7.7 acres from O-I (Office-Institutional) to MU (Mixed-Use) and a conditional use is requested to allow ‘Dwelling, ‘For-Rent’ and ‘For-Sale’ uses. The property is located on the west side of Haynes Bridge Road south of Lakeview Parkway and is legally described as Land Lots 744, 745, 752, and 753, 1st District, 2nd Section, Fulton County, Georgia.

The following items will be considered by the City Council on Monday, December 16, 2019 commencing at 6:30 p.m. in the Alpharetta City Hall Council Chambers, 2 Park Plaza, Alpharetta, Georgia.

  1. c.    PH-19-25 Good/380 Milton Avenue

Consideration of a request to change previous conditions of zoning to reduce the front setback along Milton Avenue, to increase the maximum size of a home and to allow residential driveway on Milton Avenue. The property is located at 380 Milton Avenue and is legally described as being located in Land Lot 1271, 2nd District, 2nd Section, Fulton County, Georgia.

  1. d.    V-19-17 Chick-fil-A North Point Variance

Consideration of variances to increase maximum building setbacks on North Point Court, to allow parking and a drive-through between a building and the street, to reduce the sidewalk and planter on North Point Court, and to reduce the landscape strip along North Point Parkway. The property is located at 6085 North Point Parkway and is legally described as being located in Land Lot 755, 1st District, 2nd Section, Fulton County, Georgia.

  1. e.    E-19-09 DXL Big & Tall Sign Exception

Consideration of a sign exception to aggregate allowable wall sign area in order to increase the size of the rear wall sign. The property is located at 6110 North Point Parkway, Suite A and is legally described as being located in Land Lot 755, 1st District, 2nd Section, Fulton County, Georgia.

Note:  Georgia law requires that all parties who have made campaign contributions to the Mayor or to a Council Member in excess of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) within the past two (2) years must complete a campaign contribution report with the Community Development Department.  The complete text of the Georgia law and a disclosure form are available in the office of the City Clerk, 2 Park Plaza, Alpharetta, Georgia.
