JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – The Georgia Piedmont Youth Orchestra will present its next concert 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at Centennial High School auditorium.
The program will include Vivaldi’s “Gloria” and Mozart’s Magic Flute Overture.
The concert will be under the baton of Rolando Salazar, assistant conductor and chorus master of the Atlanta Opera.
The Vivaldi will be sung by members of the Chattahoochee High School Chamber Choir under the direction of Jennie Famianski and the Atlanta Academy of Vocal Arts directed by Maria McDaniel Willathgamuwa.
Admission at the door will be $10 for adults. Students and children are free.
High school musicians wishing to become a part of this orchestra next semester are invited to apply online prior to Dec. 31 at gpyoa.org. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m.
