ROSWELL, Ga. — For the ninth year in a row, parts of Ga. 400 southbound will be closed July 9 to allow more than 1,000 cyclists to ride their bikes for 3.1 miles as part of the GA-400 Hospitality Highway Century Ride.
GA-400 from Exit 7 to Exit 6 will be closed from 6:55 a.m. to approximately 7:30 a.m.
Holcomb Bridge Road will be closed from 6:40 a.m. to approximately 7:20 a.m. for the bike riders to go from Market Blvd. to the Ga. 400 ramp.
The times when roads reopen depends upon how quickly the cyclists finish that part of the route.
The Ga. 400 Hospitality Highway Century Ride supports local cycling charities and Junior Flyers, a youth cycling team that fights childhood obesity.
