Johns Creek Arts Center:

‘Summer Serendipity’ brightens summer days

Juried art show highlights local artists

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – The best works by 67 local artists are on display through Sept. 15 at the Johns Creek Arts Center on Abbotts Bridge Road.

Arts Center Director Stuart Miller said this year’s “Summer Serendipity” art show features some of the best work by area artists that he has seen yet.

Program Director Althea Foster is the curator for the exhibit and she concurs.

“It is a wonderful exhibition in which we asked artists to give us something special,” Foster said. “And we have submissions in all sorts of media – oil on canvas, watercolors, photography, jewelry, colored pencil and multi-media.”

The juried show offered $1,750 in prize money, including $1,000 for the Best in Show.
