MILTON, Ga. — The recent snowstorm has left debris scattered along roads throughout Milton, and the city says cleanup could take 60 days to complete.
In a statement, the city said it has a limited in-house public works staff and contracts with third-party vendors for landscaping and road work, so the city will need to complete necessary procurement steps before cleanup can begin.
Milton is currently working on this process and debris has been pushed back from roadways for safety reasons. Crews will then make their way through the city to remove the debris.
The cleanup is focused on the public right-of-way and not private property.
