JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Johns Creek Advantage and Johns Creek’s restaurant community have partnered to bring back Johns Creek Restaurant Week with special deals sure to delight patrons.

Sponsored by the Johns Creek Convention and Visitors Bureau and Dinova, the weeklong event beginning Oct. 22 highlights Johns Creek’s exceptional culinary options.

“The event’s purpose is to encourage local residents to try new dining experiences or return to their favorites and invite visitors to experience the Johns Creek restaurant scene also,” said Johns Creek Advantage CEO Courtney Bernardi.

The story behind Restaurant Week got its start when the city’s larger corporations approached JCA asking how they might be able to better partner with local restaurants.

These corporations wanted to know better all the various catering options and places that could host meetings and employee appreciation events. With this goal in mind, JCA went straight to the restaurant owners’ and began a quarterly restaurant owners’ forum meeting.

It was at the first restaurant owners’ meeting, that Restaurant Week was born,

It has been so successful it is now held twice a year. In March, participating restaurants feature JCRW week specials and during October participating restaurants offer fixed-price menu.

Just remember you have to specially ask for the JCRW menu or show the JCRW app prior to ordering at the participating restaurants.

JCA is also continuing its partnership with Dinova. Also growing this year is JCA’s partnership with the Johns Creek Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

The CVB is providing promotional materials including banners and ads, as well as Restaurant Week’s own booth at the Johns Creek Arts Festival this weekend.
