David Roberts, left, and Chris Kennedy view the insides of a plane built by the late Slick Larson.
Pedro Sanchez of Lawrenceville constructed this model.
Pedro Sanchez takes his scratch-built model of a World War Two-era German Stuka dive bomber for a flight around the airfield in Forsyth County.
Just as they did during the war, Sanchez’s Stuka has a siren on board that was designed to strike fear in those unfortunate to be below this aircraft.
Things can go wrong in the air. Here, a plane is forced into an emergency landing after the throttle became stuck in flight.
