Car taken overnight from woman’s driveway

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — A woman reported Dec. 3 that her 2013 white Kia Optima was stolen from her driveway at some time during the night.

The woman said she parked her car in the driveway around 6 p.m. that night. It was unlocked with the key still inside.

Around 3 a.m., the woman awoke because of “loud banging” noises outside but did not see anything outside the window.

It was only after she got up around 9 a.m. that she realized her car was missing. In the front yard next to where the car had been parked were credit cards, her wallet and other contents from her purse. The $175 Louis Vuitton purse and a workout bag filled with supplements were taken along with the car.
