Woman steals cigarettes from Forsyth County grocery store

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A woman made off with three packs of cigarettes from Publix, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

At 3 p.m. Jan. 15, a store manager of Publix, 4900 Atlanta Highway, told deputies a woman took cigarettes from the store without paying for them.

The manager went to confront the woman in the parking lot. He said she refused to return the cigarettes and left the parking lot in a Jeep Laredo.

Deputies ran the tag number the manager provided, but the information turned up a different car.
