West Forsyth High School students win sign language contests



FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. – Elijah Howard, a 10th-grade student at West Forsyth High School, won first place for oral presentation at the District Optimist Club's Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing on Saturday, April 20 in Warner Robins. Renee Glisson, a senior at Forsyth Central High School, won first place for signing presentation. Each student won a $2,500 college scholarship and was sponsored by the Sawnee-Cumming Optimist Club.
