ROSWELL, Ga. – One lane of Crabapple Road will be closed for about a week starting Nov. 5.
The Roswell Water Utility will tie over customer water service lines from the current 2-inch water main to a newer 6-inch water main. The work will be done along the northbound lane of Crabapple Road, north of Woodstock Road.
The current water main has had numerous breaks and the services need to be replaced with a more up-to-date water main. One traffic lane will be closed, northbound. Customer services that are being tied over to the new main will only be affected during the actual tie over and will be notified when the water will be turned off to complete the tie over.
This work may take up to one week to complete. If residents have any questions, please contact the Roswell Water Utility at 770-641-3707 or Chris Boyd, water distribution superintendent, at email@example.com.
