Visitors praise Legion Post 201’s Walk of Memories

On behalf of the city of Warner Robins, we want to thank Chief J.R. Wages for the tour of the Walk of Memories given to us and our city volunteers last week. What your Post has assembled and constructed is quite impressive and clearly represents many years of hard work and investment by you and your fellow members.

As you know, we learned something about our own Robins Air Force Base from your T-33 display!

We appreciate Chief Wages for taking the time to explain the history of the Walk and share the various details as we begin to plan our own tribute to veterans in the Warner Robins community.

Even more so, we salute both your service to our nation and your efforts to honor the men and women who have served in our military.

Hopefully, in the not-too-distant future, we can invite you down for the opening of our similar effort, inspired by the efforts of American Legion Post 120.
