CUMMING, Ga. — Sawnee Animal Clinic in Cumming has moved into their new facility after operating out of a temporary trailer for 11 months.
Their original facility was destroyed in a fire in January 2012. Two animals were rescued during the fire, but sadly, two died.
Dr. Randall S. Esbeck and his team are inviting the community to see the new clinic during its grand opening house/celebration, 1826 Canton Highway, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4 through Dec. 6.
Attendees are invited to tour the state-of-the-art building, register to win one of four cash prizes and enjoy refreshments, vendor samples and information.
“We want to share our excitement with the community,” said Esbeck.
Esbeck attributes the success of this transition to an incredible team including his staff, architect Mark Claar, who specializes in veterinary clinic design, David Springer of general contractor Red Letter Construction and Scott Fuller of Sawnee Mountain Construction.
“As always, we appreciate the unwavering support of our clients, staff and contractors,” he said.
Each day, one person can win one of four $100 cash prizes.
One name per week will be drawn for four consecutive weeks after the opening.
Winners will be announced on Sawnee Animal Clinic’s website and Facebook page.
The new Sawnee Animal Clinic features modern equipment and design including digital radiology, ultrasound, a multifunction anesthesia monitor and a medical gas evacuation system.
Computer monitors with medical records in each exam room allow for a more complete examination. The boarding runs feature glass doors for a quieter and more visual environment for pets, and the run has an automatic heating/cooling/ventilation system for highest air quality.
The entire building is built to the highest energy-efficiency standards, and the stone and brick facade highlights the glass front doors and windows.
“It’s absolutely beautiful,” said Cat Jameson, a receptionist. “We have more visuals of the pets; everything functions really well.”
