Two students, principal to take part in Leadership Forsyth

Pinecrest Academy students in Cumming, Ga. among youth chosen to participate

CUMMING, Ga. — Two Pinecrest Academy high school students and Principal Ed Lindekugel were selected to take part in Leadership Forsyth.

Juniors Michael Bruckner and Cole Doxtader were selected from among 70 high achieving applicants for the Youth Leadership Forsyth Program.

“We are thrilled to have the students from Pinecrest participating; their qualifications were outstanding,” said Tammy Bramblett, Leadership Forsyth executive director.

In addition, Leadership Forsyth selected Edward Lindekugel, Pinecrest Academy’s upper school principal, to participate in their Adult Leadership Program for 2012-2013.

The adult and youth programs both seek to strengthen individual and collective leadership potential for the local community.

Participants are engaged in a 10-month program created to enhance leadership skills, as well as to expose participants to Forsyth County’s history, resources and institutions. They will become part of an alumni network of over 600 people who have participated in the program since 1989.
