CUMMING, Ga. — A woman called 911 after she saw a man was staying in an abandoned home, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

A homeowner in the 1000 block of Canton Highway told deputies a man was staying in the abandoned home beside her home.

She said her daughter and the man were in a relationship, but feared the man was using drugs.

She had called to report him the night of Nov. 13, but he fled the area before deputies arrived.

On Nov. 14, deputies searched the home and found an unsecured window.

When they opened it, they saw the man and ordered him to come out.

The man told deputies he was trying to stay away from the complainant because she was “a crazy woman.”

The man gave no other reason as to why he was inside the home, so deputies handcuffed him and took him to Forsyth County Detention Center.

Cody Glaze, 21, was charged with loitering and prowling, misdemeanors.
