ALPHARETTA, Ga. – The spirits of Alpharetta’s past will come alive on Saturday, Nov. 3 and invite guests into their home during the Restless in Resthaven Cemetery Tours in downtown Alpharetta. Three tours are scheduled beginning at 4:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The event is free, but advance reservations are required.

Reservations can be made by sending an email to Julie@awesomealpharetta.com or by calling 678-297-2811. Each tour is limited to the first 40 participants, so early reservations are recommended.

Tours will begin at Smokejack BBQ located at 29 South Main Street, the site of the old Louie Jones Funeral Home. From there, guests will be escorted through downtown Alpharetta on a candlelight tour while being joined along the way by Old Milton County’s founding fathers and other characters from local history.

This is a great opportunity to hear about Alpharetta’s early days from the people who brought the community to life.

The event is sponsored by the city of Alpharetta, Alpharetta Historical Society, Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau and Atlanta Theater-To-Go.
