CUMMING, Ga. — Thieves stole $200 and 16 bottles of wine from a Knights of Columbus storage closet, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.

At the group’s April 8 meeting in St. Brendan’s Catholic Church, 4633 Shiloh Road, a member noticed the charity money and wine had been taken.

The water jug the money was kept in was later found in the trash.

Deputies were unable to find any fingerprints at the scene. The group didn’t have video surveillance.

The wine was valued at $50.
