CUMMING, Ga. — A thief took gas, wheels, tires and doors from out-of-service Forsyth County cars, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s incident report.
Between 3 p.m. Oct. 18 and 10 a.m. Oct. 19, a county employee told deputies a thief entered the Forsyth County Fleet Maintenance shop, 4140 County Way, and took an undetermined amount of gasoline from Ford Taurus, Ford F-250, Ford F-250 and a Chevrolet dump truck. The thief also took the wheels and tires off a Ford Taurus. A Hummer Humvee was also stripped of two cloth green doors.
The employee showed deputies a place on the fence that appeared to be pried open.
The wheels and tires are estimated at $800. The value of the doors and gas is unknown.
