Teen charged with entering auto in Roswell



ROSWELL, Ga. – A 16-year-old boy was arrested Aug. 10 after allegedly breaking into at least two vehicles Aug. 9 and 10.

Police were called to Rosemont Court the morning of Aug. 10 about a vehicle that was broken into earlier that night. A Mexican passport was stolen from the victim’s car.

That afternoon, police were again called out to Rosemont Court, about 3:30 p.m., about a suspicious male walking among cars with a shirt wrapped around his head. He was allegedly checking door handles. When police arrived, they found the suspect sitting in a car. The boy ran, was Tased and caught. In his possession were $10 cash, a Mexican passport belonging to the first victim, a USB phone cord, wine corkscrew, wooden cross necklace, two Lady Footlocker discount cards, a purse and a paycheck to another victim.

The boy was arrested and charged with entering auto, obstruction and a minor in possession of alcohol.
