FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Mac Redmond, an eighth-grader at South Forsyth Middle School, was selected to play in the 2013 Junior Rank All-American Bowl in Anaheim, Calif., at the Home Depot Center, Jan. 4. Redmond was selected out of thousands of players nationwide and identified as one of the top 30 players in the East, who will help take on the top 30 players in the West.

Last summer, Redmond was selected to participate in the Football University (FBU) camp and was chosen to attend the FBU TOP GUN program, a prestigious football camp, this summer in Williamsburg, Va.

Redmond played for South Forsyth Middle School under coach Chris Baker, was the team captain and MVP and averaged nine tackles per game.
